B-day Presents!

Hello again!
I've been very  lucky and I got  a lot of mini stuff for my Bbirthday! So I decide to make this post... It's a bit long, to help to you a bit if you're interested in finding something like this!

This year my Mon preferred buy more functional presents and less miniature stuff. You'll know later on about my  non doll or miniature-related gifts ;). But she  doesn't forget about her plastic granddaughters and she gaves me two very cool mini presents!

First, this skate, wich is also  a pen. She bouhghts it at Dealextreme or Miniinthebox, I'm not sure. My Mom loves those websites and strange pens :D

This Skate/Pen fits in Blythe Dolls so perfect but it's a bit corny and It hasn't space for the doll's foot
I'm thinkig about buy one skate in a local bazaar to use their pieces to customice this skate :D

My Mom's second gift from my mon were these earrings from Claire's with tiny key sets  perfect for my dolls!
I really love this present beacuse I didn't have any miniature key sets or single keys. My Mom loves keys so it's a very personal  present from her.

The fact that the price is visible is another typical Mom featurer. She loves to find bargains and she brags about it, even in presents.

One the earring's hoop came a bit worn so I decided use one earing as a key set and the other as single keys without the faulty hoop.:D

I usually find  lot of interesting stuff for dolls and pullrings at Claire's but sometimes I think prices are too hight and the  quality is poor compared to other jewelry stores. This time a earing brok just as I removed the wrapper. :(

My Mom aslo gave me a magnifying glass with led for my sewing machine, some cute stationery stuff, a pink satchel bag with matching watch, an IPhone case and I also got a baseball Jacket from her work mate :D

To finish my miniature-related presents, my boyfriend gave this set of pallets designed by Labirynth-Bcn. They are sold as coasters But they're perfect for Blythe dolls. They are very detailed and also very nicely made! A set of 5 pallets cost around 16 euros but if you buy more that 4 sets it costs less than 13 euros (shipping costs not included) My boyfriend surprised me with an unexpected present, an OKTOMAT camera from Lomography. It takes 8 photos in one. I always wanted a camera like this! So that is all, I¡m sure I forgot something, because I always forget something :S If you try to get any of this, and you need help please contact me, I'm glad to help to you. You can use my e-mail or just reply to this entry XOXO!

Against his will, my boyfriend ended up gettimg me a lot of miniature stuff from my whishlist, although he always prefers the wow factor!
His mother bought me this  fantastic Playmobil.  I think It's my first Playmobil box (Iat home, playmobil stuff belonged to my brother, I pereferred Lego;))

I had had it in my whistlist since X-Mas because I wanted the little fram :D  All the litte animals are so nice, and now I need all the micro Playmobil stuff.

But the box has other things that I find very nice and useful for doll scenes. A pair of  little boats, a terranium with two nice  hamsters, althought I want to change the plastic y piece for real hay.
The little red chair is so cute to have a mini doll sitting . And I think the shelves and the yellow table (as a shelf too ) will be very useful for my next diorama. It also came with some seae-themed pieces, a white shell, a crab and a orange starfish, very cool for beach photo sessions.

This box cost around 20 or 25 euros and it could be  found at every local toy shop by  X-mas, now is more difficult to find but not impossible. He got it at
El Corte Inglés but it's avaliable at Amazon

My boy also gave me a pair of nanoblocks  anoother item that has been in my whislist sin X-mas.
Nanoblocks  are like tiny Lego pieces. It comes in packets or little boxes, depending on  the figure or the collection.
They have a lot of models and themes so I'm sure you will find one that you like.
I'm so impressed with the micro small size and the high quality and perfection of this tiny pieces.
You know I'm obsseed to get miniatures toy so this are perfect to my collection. Highly recommended!

They can be found in every local toy stores,  ebay and amazon. Prices are around 10 or 15 euros, depending on where you find them. This is form El Corte Inglés :D

I hate ( not at all) getting older

Today is my Birthday!! I have mixed feelings about this day because I love getting presents but I hate getting older. But I love the fact that today is Hinamatsuri fest in Japan, also known as "Dolls Festivity" or "Girly Festivity". These days families display their dolls wearing traditional kimonos and representing the Imperial Court. These dolls are said to protect girls from evil spirits, but the girl will never be married if they are still shown after 4th March :S So It's cool to be born on a day known as something like "doll's day" in Japan. Maybe it was my destiny. Who knows, maybe someday I will celebrate this day in Japan Kisses and Cakes to you all!

My shopping at Minidreamworld2010

Today I've recived  the order I made in Minidreamworld2010 with some miniatures. As usual a day with miniatures is a happy day!

Minidreamworld2010  is a ebay shop based in China wich sells dollhouse miniatures for very nice prices. They haven't anything that you can`t find in other sites, but I think they have the cheapest prices!

I made this order to get this antique camera. I needed it to complete my miniature camera collection. It's measures around 10 cm, so is too small for Blythe dolls, I knew it before buying, but It's the tallest camera I found. The camera is very nicely made and very detailed. I don't like very much that the trigger is only a wooden ball and the flash is only a rude brushstroke of red paint. But you can replace it or clean it easily :D!

The next thing I got was this  golden watch, It's perfect for a diorama that I had wanted  to build for a long time. I had seen it in another ebay site where I usually buy too, but I bought here to save shipping costs thanks to combined shipping. As a little flaw, the watch came a bit dirty and  it looks less clear. But It's so nice, anyway.

Also I bought this  beer mug 2 pack because I didn't have any of them and they were cheap compared to others I had seen. I thought they were bigger, like a pint, but they are so tiny.

To finish, the item that had made me  wait for this order with a lot of hope was my little monchhichi! I'm obsessed with ollecting miniature toys so finding this doll  was great, because It's the most adorable doll in the world for me . It measures around 2 cm and he is a bobblehead, which makes it even more adorable, if possible.

I also like in that shipping costs in thsi shop always  include  registered air-mail with tracking number, so deliveries are safer.

This order was 17 usd (around 12 euros(. ,shipping costs included,

.
I also have from this shop this cherry printed tea set, so nice and detailed and just perfect.

Other items I find interesting ( and I will buy in the near future) are this set of drinks , this little doll housethis chair , this spinning wheel , ( although I think is too small) this sewing box , this wall clockthe fishing rod  , this telephone... and much more.

This site also has a lot of miniature furniture.  If you want to buy for your Barbie or Blythe Dolls make sure you get furniture in 1:6 scale,  1:12 scale is for smaller dolls.

I hope it helps.

xoxo!

My Youtube Channel!

Hello Again!

I want to use this post to introduce you to  my Youtube channel!

Some months ago I though creating little scenes and dioramas for my dolls and taking some photos of them was what I loved the most. But now I realised that I could go further by giving "life "to those scenes! Now, it's fascinating to see my dolls in motion by themselves. ( Maybe It sounds a bit scary)

After a long time with some shy approaches to  stop-motion technique  I've decided to make some fun videos  starring my dolls using this technique only.
I hope to upload videos regularly, every 15 day  more or less. But I really hope you like the video and you had a fun watching it!

xoxo!
